If you live in the Chicago metropolitan area, I would like to invite you to join us for a special book launch to celebrate the release of Your Brain on Cubs: Inside the Heads of Players and Fans, edited by Dan Gordon. On Monday, March 10, we are teaming up with the Illinois Science Council to host a free lecture and book signing at The Cubby Bear, across from Wrigley Field.
This special evening will include a discussion moderated by Jeremy Manier, science and medical writer for the Chicago Tribune, featuring Dan Gordon, Steven Small, Ph.D., of the University of Chicago and Aryeh Routtenberg, Ph.D., of Northwestern University. They'll talk about the brain science of sport and what makes a fan a fan.
The event is free but space is limited. To reserve a seat, e-mail info@IllinoisScience.org and include your name and the number of people attending.
