Two Free Successful Aging & Your Brain Events in NYC!

Will you be in New York City next week? Would you like to know more about maintaining brain health as you age? If so, you have two opportunities to attend our free Successful Aging & Your Brain program!

MemorySuccessful Aging & Your Brain, formerly Staying Sharp, features a panel discussion on topics such as normal age-related changes in the brain, brain diseases and disorders, and successful aging techniques. After the discussion, there is allotted time for audience questions.

The first session will take place at the New York University Langone Medical Center’s “Brain Day”—Tuesday, March 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Expert neuroscientists from the Center for Cognitive Neurology will participate. Immediately following the session, attendees are invited to see a performance by The Unforgettables, a chorus for people with dementia and their caregivers, and to hear its Director, Mary S. Mittelman, Dr.P.H., discuss the importance of music and caregiver support. Outside of the auditorium there will be a Brain Fair, where you can learn more about the research being done at the Langone Medical Center.
