Sticker Design Contest Winners

We are pleased to announce the winners of our first Sticker Design Contest for Brain Awareness Week (BAW) 2018! The submissions we received showcased talent and creativity from brain enthusiasts all around the world, and the first, second, and third place winners were chosen by online polls open to the public.

Marianne Claire Bacani from Vancouver, Canada, created the first place design, which will be printed onto thousands of stickers to be distributed during the global campaign. Working as events director for Neuroethics Canada, Bacani also happens to be preparing for her sixth year as a BAW Partner. “Brain Awareness Week is one of the few highlight events during the year for me,” she said. “I wanted to challenge my design skills by trying to illustrate the BAW spirit as I’ve come to understand over the years of celebrating it.”

The brainy challenge launched in September to ask people of all ages to create their own graphic in hopes of becoming the new BAW 2018 sticker. A great assortment of prizes are in store for the top three winners, in addition to the first place design being printed into thousands of stickers for distribution in March!
